LIGHTING INSTALLATION: 10-METER-FOREST

Visit the grand Emil&Samuel Restaurant/bar/salon/night club on top of Oslo's high end department store Steen&Strøm.

Cathrine Kullberg has designed this 100 square meter ceiling/wall installation of wood veneer, light and laser-cut patterns - a glowing forest with owls, foxes, squirrels and birds playing between the trees. The eye-catcher of the installation is the 10 meter wide back lit veneer frieze, and the flying lit eagles soaring above the dinner guests - and the over-sized pine cones, actually serving as ventilation grilles for the space. The interior designers from Anyplace have designed the overall interior of the restaurant. See Info Sheet
